Dark places

The story follows Libby Day, a woman in her early 30s who survived the brutal massacre of her family when she was just seven years old. Her mother and two sisters were murdered in what was believed to be a satanic cult killing, and her teenage brother, Ben Day, was convicted of the crimes—largely based on Libby’s testimony. Decades later, Libby is aimless, traumatized, and running out of money. She’s approached by a group called the Kill Club—obsessed with true crime and convinced that Ben is innocent. Motivated by the promise of money, Libby agrees to revisit the case, digging into the events of that night and uncovering dark secrets from her family’s past.
